i found the staff accommodating. dinh offered excellent recommendations for local attractions. sunny efficiently arranged my airport transfer at a reasonable cost. i appreciated being able to leave my luggage during my trips to sapa and ha giang.

the breakfast selection was quite limited i hoped for more variety in the offerings each morning but i still found something to eat.

the staff offered assistance with luggage storage after my halong bay trip.

the noise level was unacceptable. i was given earplugs at check-in because of the loud bass coming from beer street nearby. i booked a balcony room, i was moved to a quieter room without a balcony. other guests also complained about the noise.

the location was acceptable, right in the center of the city.

The noise level was AWFUL. the hotel sits next to beer street. bass vibrations persisted late into the night even with earplugs. It was not possible to sleep adequately. the friendly staff DID move me to another room, however it lacked a balcony even though i paid for that amenity.
